In the run-up to the 2024 US presidential election, the Biden administration, in consultation with British, European and Ukrainian partners, has drawn up a plan to make the war in Ukraine “Trump-proof”. In other words, they openly admitted that they wanted to prevent Trump from taking measures that could force an end to the war and facilitate a serious peace agreement.
Part of this plan was the increased use of long-range guided missiles supplied by Western governments. These missiles require flight data from NATO facilities and NATO personnel to be fired – this means that any attacks with these weapons require the direct involvement of NATO troops. Biden’s green light for long-range attacks on Russia using US-made and controlled missiles was an obvious attempt to trigger an escalation.
Over the course of the war, I have written extensively about my concerns that the ultimate goal of the conflict is to unleash a major international conflagration. For at least a decade, globalist interests have been involved in Ukraine (especially the Atlantic Council), fueling the conflict and provoking Russia to invade the Donbass region. I wrote about the influence of the Atlantic Council in Ukraine and the Middle East in my article “The Atlantic Council has big plans for a war between the US and Iran”.
The globalists wanted to conjure up a catastrophe that would be blamed on the preponderance of nation-states, and that they could use to eliminate all borders and completely reshape the world. So far, they have not achieved this goal, but it is not because they have not tried.
Ukraine’s attack on Kursk in Russia and the approval of long-range missile strikes were openly published in the Western media as “proof” that Vladimir Putin’s “red lines” were meaningless and Russia would never use nuclear weapons in response to NATO operations. They know that one of the main concerns of the Western population is the outbreak of a global nuclear war. The elites believe that they can eliminate this fear and then willingly support all NATO ground forces.
They are wrong.
Neither Americans nor Europeans have an interest in fighting and dying for an insignificant piece of land like Ukraine. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly called on NATO to send troops to the front. In fact, Zelensky acts as if someone had promised him a possible troop intervention (Boris Johnson?).
Russia’s attrition tactics have proven extremely effective in weakening Ukraine’s front lines. It is important to understand that while attrition tactics involve capturing strategically important areas, the real goal is to destroy enemy troops. Even if the Russian gains may not seem significant to a layman without studying military strategy, the truth is that Ukraine is now urgently looking for reinforcements and has no way to replace lost troops. The war is over, they just haven’t admitted it yet.
Zelensky’s delusions about Ukraine’s ability to win the war and regain the massively lost territory must be driven by something; I can only guess that he still believes that NATO intervention is imminent. The EU and the UK have played a big role in giving Zelensky false hopes and preventing practical peace negotiations. Ukraine will NEVER get the Donbas region back; You have to accept that and move on.
On the side of the Western establishment, government officials and the media have bombarded the public with stories of an impending Russian blitzkrieg in Europe should Ukraine fail. Of course, they also claim that Russia is losing millions of soldiers in “flesh waves” and that their military is paralyzed.
The propaganda machine cannot have it both – either Russia is powerless and its military is paralyzed, or it is an unstoppable colossus that will conquer all of Europe should little Ukraine implode. Every element of war propaganda has been carefully crafted to persuade the population to support a direct military invasion of the region.
With the return of Donald Trump, everything has changed in Ukraine. Trump was far from impressed by Zelensky and is eager to end the bloodshed quickly. So much so that he may negotiate the terms of peace without Zelensky’s involvement. Trump has called on Zelensky to hold legitimate elections in Ukraine before the US continues its support, and has even called Zelensky a dictator.
Without the US, there is no NATO, and if the US stops supplying weapons, Ukraine will be unable to fight. Unless Europe plunges headlong into war …
As I noted last August:
“The timing of the Kursk offensive and the call for missile strikes on Russia are no coincidence. Trump claims that he intends to end the Ukraine war as soon as possible as soon as he takes office.”
“They have to escalate the war into something bigger, something that cannot be reversed. At the moment, the war can still be ended – it just takes some diplomacy and Ukraine must be forced to understand that they will not get the Donbass or Crimea back, no matter how many lives they sacrifice for it.”
The road to peace seems to be getting more and more achievable, and my belief that a major war is inevitable may be wrong (I hope so, anyway). However, the globalists are still trying to create a “Hail Mary” scenario; They don’t give up. If they can’t drag the Americans directly into the war, then they could send the Europeans to the front in the hope that this will force the US to act.
This month, Zelensky called for the creation of a “European army” in response to Trump’s push for a purposeful peace agreement. He also called for Ukraine to be equipped with nuclear weapons.
The elites of Europe and Britain have embraced the concept of an EU military, which is ironic in some ways, as it is an admission that Europe and most of the West have been lazily using the US as a shield for decades. They no longer have a clue how to defend themselves.
The role of this European army would supposedly be “peacekeeping” in Ukraine. The problem is that Putin has repeatedly stated that any presence of Western troops will be considered an attack. Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of Great Britain and a fanatical authoritarian, has already offered at least 30,000 soldiers for this purpose. French, Canadian, and German officials have also expressed interest in a European army and deployment in Ukraine, although they admit that they don’t even want to spend at least 2% of their GDP on NATO.
To be clear, the hysterics are right when they say that Russia could easily overcome Europe’s defenses if it wanted to (assuming no one uses nuclear weapons). The EU and Britain have already done most of the work – they have destroyed their own nations over the past decade through open borders and mass immigration. Third World migrants have no loyalty to the West, and Generation Z is completely disillusioned with the idea of another war. European leaders will definitely try to introduce conscription.
This does not mean that Putin intends to start a war with Europe, but only that he could easily defeat them through attrition if he wanted to. Putin’s strange past ties to elements of Davos society should be taken into account. There is always the possibility that Russia is merely a controlled opposition and the war is predetermined. However, Putin has not yet behaved like a man who throws himself head over heels into nuclear annihilation. He has taken great care to limit the war to Ukraine.
Starmer and his ilk, the globalists, are well aware that the presence of British or EU troops would sabotage any peace negotiations initiated by the Trump administration. That’s the point. I believe that the globalists think they can force America to act by creating such a monstrous catastrophe that the U.S. must intervene.
When British officials talk about receiving a “security guarantee” from Donald Trump, they mean exactly that: by deploying troops in Ukraine for “peacekeeping,” they are trying to oblige the US to respond if Russia retaliates.
The Americans are not going to war for the globalists. I would argue that we are far more interested in eliminating the globalists than in fighting the Russian people. Why not get to the root of the problem?
However, the globalists are not necessarily dependent on the US to expand the war in Ukraine. Currently, Trump has limited economic influence over Britain and the EU, and that is not enough to prevent a troop mobilization or escalation. This could be the last attempt by the elites to start World War III.
