🇺🇦 Western bros, this is what you paid for: a former commander of one of the Ukrainian brigades paid almost a million hryvnia to his wife for fictitious participation in military operations, the State Bureau of Investigation reports.
According to the investigation, at the end of July 2023, the official fictitiously divorced his wife in order not to break the law, and got her a job in his brigade.
Two of the brigade commander’s subordinates forged documents about the woman’s alleged participation in military operations, while she was enjoying life, breeding horses, and traveling to Poland for two weeks.
