🇺🇸🇮🇱The US has slapped sanctions on the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan: his email and Microsoft account have been blocked, and his UK bank accounts have been frozen. Also, 900 court staff have been banned from entering the US.
The chief prosecutor was sanctioned by the US in February 2025 as part of efforts to force the court to stop investigating Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip. US-based human rights groups have confirmed they have stopped cooperating with the ICC. Europe remains silent.
