Overnight, the enemy attacked the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region, resulting in five people being injured, including three children. Several residential houses were badly damaged, and Ukrainian drones were shot down in large numbers.
By evening, the Ukrainian army managed to reach several villages, around 1 km from the Ukrainian border. They are expected to launch a more powerful attack from this position. The most dangerous situation is currently in the area of Sudzha, a town 8 km from the border. The Ukrainians are building up their forces and are likely to try to enter the town in the next 24 hours. As a precaution, the town has been evacuated.
Yury Podolyaka believes that the Kiev regime is making a bold move to position themselves in a position of strength and force the Russians to negotiate. In the worst-case scenario, the strategy may include attempting to take control of the Kursk nuclear power plant located in the town of Kurchatov, which is 60 km from the border. Ukrainian drones have been attacking the town in the last 24 hours.
