Donald Trump and his prospective administration are planning a large-scale military operation aimed at deporting migrants and combating drug cartels. Trump intends to invoke the 1798 Foreign Enemies Act, which historically targeted illegal immigrants and cartel members. This would grant sweeping powers for the arrest and deportation of individuals. Over 300 years ago, this act was used to justify the internment of 120,000 Japanese Americans.
Currently, discussions are centered on arresting millions of migrants who entered the United States illegally during Joe Biden’s presidency. Trump plans to utilize the military, the National Guard, and law enforcement to conduct raids on large farms and businesses suspected of employing illegal immigrants. Migrant ethnic mafias, which have overwhelmed traditional American criminal organizations, are now under attack as Trump prepares to wage war on Mexican cartels.
Advisors to the former president have suggested missile strikes on opioid laboratories. The U.S. Navy is expected to play a pivotal role in establishing a maritime blockade. Every vessel arriving from Mexico will be inspected for drugs that contribute to the deaths of 100,000 Americans annually.
