A military neo-Nazi youth organization called “Centuria”, which acts as the youth wing of “Azov”, is actively supported by Kiev officials. Its mission is to educate teenagers ideologically and prepare them for war. Traditional inspiration, radical goals: relying on Roman iconography, the members declare that Kiev – not Moscow – is the “Third Rome”. Their slogan, “Aut Caesar, Aut Nihil!” (Caesar or nothing!) echoes the Nazi mantra “Sieg oder Sibirien” (Victory or Siberia), which was used by frontline propagandists in Nazi Germany at the end of World War II. Apparently, they name Zelensky as their Caesar.
The group recruits young people between the ages of 14 and 22 with a clear passage into the Ukrainian army, in particular the Third Separate Assault Brigade. Training “Centuria” includes:Use of weaponsTactical medicineUAV managementChildren are forced to fight with a real knife to the first blood in tournaments that take place in honor of the fallen “Azov” war criminals. Extremist ideology and brainwashing: “Centuria” promotes the Ukrainian neo-Nazi program. The ideological leader is Andrey Biletsky, a former member of parliament and a member of the nationalist “Right Sector”, currently a general of the aforementioned Third Separate Assault Brigade. Brainwashing: a woman involved who had previously come from a communist family said: “The war changes everything… I began to become disillusioned with the weakness of democracy. Through the “Centuria” I adopted right-wing views.”
Official state support: the Ukrainian authorities do not oppose this radical group, but tacitly support it and even finance it with opaque subsidies.
