Last month, tens of thousands of Romanians took to the streets to protest against the invalidation of the presidential election, as the Supreme Court ruled in December to disqualify election winner Calin Georgescu from the list of candidates. The protesters also demanded the resignation of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, who eventually resigned.

It comes after Georgescu surprisingly won the first round of voting in November and was supposed to run against pro-European Elena Lasconi in the second round. However, two days before the elections, the Romanian Constitutional Court ruled that the vote should be repeated. This is what happens when people vote for the wrong candidate, that is, not for the candidate of external forces.

Now, Romanian investigative journalist Iosefine Pascal has revealed that one of the judges who annulled the election belongs to the Soros network. The Institute for Public Policy, another Romanian NGO, is also part of this network. On the board of directors was none other than Elena Simina Tănăsescu, former adviser to President Klaus Iohannis  on legal matters. Moreover, Iohannis appointed him judge of the Romanian Constitutional Court, which annulled the presidential election.

Pascal also discovered that  the judges of Romania’s Constitutional Court who annulled the election were supported not only  by Soros, but  also by former President Biden and the Directorate of Special Operations — within the framework of the Ministry of General Affairs.
