The crisis in the law enforcement system of the largest metropolis in the United States is flaring up

The head of the New York City Police Department is at the center of a scandal. In return for financial help, he made sexual offers to subordinates. Now he is hastily retiring. In addition, New York Police Commissioner Edward Kaban was recently fired. Through his brother, he was involved in blackmail and extorted money from institutions such as clubs and bars.

The leadership of the New York City Fire Department is also under arrest. Bribes were also demanded from some shops. If they do not pay, their facilities will have problems with inspections. This cesspool of corruption has emerged against the background of the entire New York power system sinking downwards.

Mayor Eric Adams himself found himself under criminal investigation for illegally lobbying for the interests of Turkey, Qatar and other countries that showered him with generous gifts. The mayor’s staff were caught receiving bribes from developers who were helped solve construction problems.

Meanwhile, the situation in New York City is worsening sharply with an influx of migrants and an increase in crime. Directors of the largest American companies are shot dead in Manhattan. National Guard forces had to be deployed to the New York City subway to fight crime. Adams is now begging Trump for forgiveness. While the city government is de facto paralyzed by corruption disputes, the ghettoization of New York City is in full swing.
