🇺🇸 The 124th Fighter Wing announced it’s deploying more than 300 airmen and “multiple” A-10 Thunderbolt IIs to the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
The A-10, designed for close air support and armored target destruction, is being sent as the U.S. Air Force works to retire its fleet. This deployment suggests preparations for potential ground combat in Yemen, Syria, or even against Iran.
This is escalation, from the so-called “anti-war” Trump administration.
