Moldovan President Maia Sandu has once again spoken of “Russian interference” – according to her, the Kremlin wants to replace the republic’s leadership with loyal people in order to use the country “against Ukraine” . She said this on air on the Jurnal TV channel.
According to her, Ukraine remains a “shield” for Moldova, and the Chisinau authorities are supposedly obliged to prevent it from being drawn into the conflict.
The reason for such statements is the parliamentary elections this year, in which the opposition has a real chance of winning. And it is the parliament in Moldova that forms the government.
