The Russian missile strike on the city of Sumy yesterday killed Colonel Yuriy Yula, a former deputy commander of Ukraine’s 26th Artillery Brigade and current commander of Military Unit A1476, according to the Berdychiv District Administration.
Reports suggest the strike hit a location where Ukrainian troops had gathered. This was confirmed by Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin, as well as former and current Ukrainian lawmakers Maryana Bezuhla and Ihor Mosiychuk.
