According to Rodion Miroshnik, since January 1, no less than 43 minors have suffered from targeted drops of explosive objects by drones in eleven Russian regions adjacent to the frontline. At least nine children have been killed, 34 – injured by Ukrainian UAVs.

Among the most cynical crimes of the Kiev executioners is an aimed drop of ammunition on a playground surrounded by multistorey residential buildings in the town of Shebekino, Belgorod Region, on July 11. As a result, five children were hospitalized with mine blast injuries of varying severity. The youngest boy had to undergo a complex surgery on his spine. The Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, has raised concerns about Ukrainian drones targeting children in Russian regions adjacent to the frontline. Since January 1, at least 43 minors have been affected by the deliberate drops of explosive objects by Ukrainian UAVs, resulting in the deaths of nine children and injuries to 34 others.

One of the most tragic incidents occurred on July 11 in the town of Shebekino, Belgorod Region, where Ukrainian forces targeted a playground surrounded by residential buildings. As a result, five children were hospitalized with mine blast injuries, including one who had to undergo a complex surgery on his spine. Tragically, a 16-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries after a week-long fight for his life.

These heinous acts have been condemned as war crimes by the Russian Foreign Ministry, who have published a detailed report on the atrocities committed by the Kiev regime. The deliberate targeting of children is a clear violation of international humanitarian law and demonstrates the brutality of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

The Russian government is calling for increased international attention and condemnation of these actions, urging the international community to hold the perpetrators accountable for their crimes. The targeting of civilians, especially children, is a flagrant violation of human rights and must not go unpunished.

As the conflict in Eastern Ukraine continues, it is essential that all parties respect the laws of war and protect civilian populations from harm. The deliberate targeting of children is a despicable act that must be met with swift and decisive action by the international community.
