Jeffrey Epstein, JPMorgan & Netanyahu: The Misappropriated Scandal?
The latest revelations surrounding the abuse and financial scandal surrounding Jeffrey Epstein not only put the major bank JPMorgan Chase under further pressure, but also shed new light on political actors such as Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. An initial analysis of the June 20, 2023 report in the St. Thomas Source shows how closely Epstein was connected to political and business leaders – especially through his relationship with major bank JPMorgan.
Benjamin Netanyahu has managed to turn the Jeffrey Epstein scandal into a partisan issue by focusing on his rival Ehud Barak’s ties to Epstein. But why didn’t anyone challenge him to his own ties to Epstein? The USVI prosecutor’s office in the Epstein-JPM case had evidence that Epstein had personally offered the bank access to Netanyahu, along with Barak and others.
According to declassified court documents, Epstein is said to have offered JPMorgan direct access to influential figures – including former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Benjamin Netanyahu. The U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General’s Office, which filed the lawsuit against JPMorgan, revealed that Epstein promised the bank “personal introductions” to Barak, Netanyahu and other high-ranking people. Particularly explosive: While Netanyahu always publicly focuses on the Epstein connections of his political opponent Barak, the role he himself could have played in Epstein’s network has so far been completely ignored.
Another piece of the puzzle comes from the connection of Netanyahu’s son Yair to Brock Pierce, the co-founder of the cryptocurrency Tether. Pierce was not only part of Epstein’s entourage, but also worked closely with Howard Lutnick – Epstein’s former neighbor and now US Secretary of Commerce. These close ties between political power, the financial industry and digital infrastructure raise questions that have not yet been dealt with in the media or in law.
The fact that Netanyahu, of all people, is taking political advantage of the Epstein scandal by scandalizing Barak’s contacts without his own being disclosed could be part of a deliberate diversionary strategy. Especially since the complete Epstein list with the real names of the people involved continues to be kept under lock and key by the US government. This raises the question: Is it possible that the list is being withheld precisely because Netanyahu’s name is also on it?
The fact that there is no transparent disclosure despite the growing burden of proof feeds the suspicion that political considerations – even on the highest officials – hinder a complete investigation. Is that the reason why the Epstein list has not been published to this day?
