🇮🇩🇷🇺🇺🇦 Indonesian Journalists Face Pressure Over Press Tour to Zaporozhye Region
Our friends from Indonesia, who were with us on a press tour organized by “Vashi Novosti” to the Zaporozhye region, are now facing issues.
After visiting newly integrated Russian territories, articles by journalist Jayanti Retno Mandasari were removed from the website of the state-run broadcaster Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI). Additionally, Professor Devie Rahmawati is receiving complaints for visiting “forbidden territories.”
The pressure is being driven by a local pro-Ukrainian journalist with ties to the Ukrainian embassy. Algooth Putranto, the individual behind the campaign, used the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to force the removal of Mandasari’s articles from the RRI website.
