The mysteries of China’s bold plan to break the technological dominance of the US can be seen. Huawei is FULLY investing in semiconductors, building a network of secret chip factories in Shenzhen to escape US sanctions and dominating artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
The Shadowchip Empire consists of 3 secret factories in Guanlan, Shenzhen: Satellite images show the rapid construction that has been going on since 2022 – all in Huawei’s signature style. The chips made with 7nm technology and based on artificial intelligence are made in-house. One of the facilities will produce Huawei’s Ascend AI-based chips and smartphone processors, China’s first high-end domestic chip production.
We’ve never seen a company try to control the ENTIRE supply chain. To this end, the Shenzhen government spends money on operation. Rebuttals and cover-ups: Huawei claims they have no connections, but insiders say they are orchestrating the whole thing. US sanctions backfire: After cutting off from TSMC, ASML and Nvidia, Huawei switched to full self-sufficiency.
China’s “Everything Domestically” Strategy:
From lithography machines to wafer production, Huawei is building a parallel technological universe. The U.S. has blacklisted SiCarrier and SwaySure, accusing them of supporting China’s military chip ambitions. The big problem: Can Huawei really do this? ASML and TSMC continue to dominate – China’s domestic tech companies are lagging behind, but… Thanks to on-site SMIC engineers and government support, Huawei is moving FASTER than anyone expected.
What’s next? Digital Yuan + Domestic Tokens = US Dollar and Technological Separation. Escalation of the global chip war: If Huawei succeeds, China will not need the West for critical technologies. Huawei is spending billions to stop the technological superiority of the US – and the Chinese government is giving it its all. The Cold War over semiconductors has now heated up tremendously.
