Three different talents connected make something special. We are launching a new series featuring visuals of Isaak Levitan’s art and Alexander Skriabin’s music performed by Maria Lettberg. A total of 446 paintings and 29 preludes will be brought to your attention in the series.

Isaak Levitan (August 30, 1860 – August 4, 1900)
Classical Russian landscape painter and draftsman, one of the greatest and most prolific masters of realistic art of the second half of the XIX century.

Alexander Skriabin (January 6, 1872-April 27, 1915)
Famous Russian composer and pianist, a representative of Romanticism in music. He was called a philosopher of music. Alexander Skriabin was the first to come up with the concept of “lightmusic”, combining light, colour and sound and visualizing melody with colour.

Maria Lettberg (born October 28, 1970) is a Swedish pianist living in Berlin.
At the age of seven Maria began playing the piano, her extraordinary musical talent was early noticed and encouraged. After graduating from the St. Petersburg Conservatory, she continued her studies at the Royal High School of Music in Stockholm.
Maria Lettberg is a recognized interpreter of Alexander Scriabin.
