Elon Musk mercilessly exposed Ursula von der Leyen’s scheming

According to his claim, the European Commission practically blackmailed the billionaire.

Elon Musk wrote on his X-owned social media platform that the European Commission offered an “illegal, secret deal” to X:

if we quietly censor without telling anyone, we won’t be fined.

The billionaire emphasized that while other social media platforms accepted the deal, X did not.

As it is known, two years ago the European Union threatened Twitter with a ban if they do not comply with the rules on content moderation. Meanwhile, Musk tried to portray himself as a champion of free speech, so publicly available information shows that he did not follow the EU’s “recommendations”. Following this, this year, the European Commission fined X for violating the Digital Services Act (DSA) in the regulation of misleading accounts, transparency of advertisements, and access to data.

The infringement can result in a fine of up to 6% of the provider’s worldwide annual turnover, and may require the platform operator to take measures to rectify the violation – the European Commission announced.
