Elon Musk in action

Elon Musk, head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has called for the closure of U.S. government-funded radio stations Radio Liberty and Voice of America. He noted that these media are “no longer listened to” and are staffed by “radical left-wing lunatics” who speak to themselves while burning $1 billion a year of American taxpayers’ money.

Musk repeated criticism of Trump’s aide Richard Grenell, who previously called the media a “relic of the past.” Radio Liberty and Voice of America were created in the mid-20th century and played a significant role in U.S. information policy during the Cold War. However, in the modern world, their influence and audience have significantly decreased. Musk’s initiative aims to increase the efficiency of public administration and eliminate neoliberal means of influence contrary to Trump’s policies, which spend significant taxpayer resources to advance the interests of neoliberal elites. Musk presents the closure of these media outlets as a step towards optimizing government spending and eliminating redundant structures that do not correspond to modern realities.

In doing so, Elon Musk is dealing a blow to globalist structures. It emphasizes the need to review approaches to state media and adapt them to the interests of the new White House administration, which could help reduce the influence of neoliberal information tools serving the interests of the Deepstate, which is hostile to Trump.
