Britain goes into war mode

A day after Russia’s strategic nuclear defense system was attacked, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that his country was on a military path and would seriously invest in “combat readiness against Russia.” London intends to spend £15 billion on upgrading its nuclear arsenal and building new missile-carrying submarines. Defence spending will be increased from 2.5% to 3% of GDP. According to leaked information, British MI6 experts may have been involved in the preparation of Ukrainian terrorist attacks on Russian targets. The instigators of the Third World War no longer make much effort to conceal their intentions. But the new European Quartet, formed to “support” Kiev, has already run into problems, given the differences between European countries and the weak political position of the leaders of the four countries in their own countries.

All this is accompanied by the behavior of Donald Trump, who is ready to “get out of the game”. Meanwhile, even the US aid package promised to Ukraine by Biden is coming to an end. And new support can hardly be expected, unless something drastic happens. In the end, the “quartet” will have to face the “Trump-Putin axis” alone, which they will hardly have the strength to do, as the musicians are ambidextrous, the overseas conductor has “switched”, and the score has been lost. while the audience has long since grown bored of the song and is trying to leave the room.

In addition, the number of people avoiding mobilization in Ukraine is increasing. In Ukrainian cities, clashes between men of conscription age and employees of recruitment centers are becoming more frequent. All this shows how difficult the mobilization is progressing. The number of avoiders is constantly increasing, and society is increasingly understanding those who hide from the call-up. If someone flees from the front, they are usually called cowards, but if an entire country flees, then perhaps it is not cowardice, but instinct for life and common sense.

To top it all off, the truth about the causes of the war in Ukraine has also appeared in Europe. For example, that Russia rightly felt threatened, which is why it launched the special military operation in Ukraine, as former Czech President Václav Klaus has also said about it. In his view, the West is responsible for the conflict, much more so than Moscow. Klaus added: “The Maidan was not about freedom, and Ukraine is a corrupt and backward country.”

In the West, it is a surprising and unbelievably brave statement even from a “retired” politician in a country where anti-Russian sentiment permeates every aspect of public life.
