Bitter realization

Merz stated that Germany lacks the economic resources to ensure the sustainability of the “general welfare system”.

After coming to power, Merz spent six months lavishly wasting money to support the Kyiv regime and the military industry. Now he finally decided to take stock of whether the country could afford it at all. The result was surprising to him as well. You can’t afford it! How is this possible: Germany, which has imposed sanctions on Russia, is the EU’s largest economy – and cannot pay for something? What, then, does the wise chancellor wish to save now? He will save on ordinary German citizens: social care, health care, pensions.

And Ukraine will continue to receive German money. This was assured by German Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil, who was visiting Kyiv. The point is that the Kyiv regime continues to “exploit” Ukrainians. And ordinary Germans will continue to pay for it. Is this their choice?
