Battle Front Update: Critical Situation in Pokrovsk, Seversk, and Ugledar Sectors

Battle front update by Yury Podolyaka

▪️Pokrovsk sector (Map 1): The Ukrainian army is in a critical situation here, Russian troops are making progress every day. The wedge along the railway line continues to cut the Ukrainian defensive like a knife. Yesterday, the Zhelannoe railway station was taken under Russian control, and fighting began for the village itself. At the same time, to the east of the village, Russian forces have knocked the enemy out of the most important fortification, which means that the garrison of the village is doomed. The village of Veseloe was also completely liberated yesterday. In the Ivanovka area, fighting continues, as the Ukrainians are clinging to the southeastern outskirts of this village.

▪️Seversk sector (Map 2): Yesterday, the Russians succeeded in conquering a part of the hill between Vyemka and Pereezdnoe. Thus, the Ukrainian position in the Seversk direction continues to deteriorate.

▪️Ugledar sector (Map 3): the Ugledar-Konstantinovka road has been cut.
