Russian Presidential Assistant Condemns Attack on Kursk Region by Ukrainian Armed Forces as Anticipation of Kiev Regime Collapse

MOSCOW, August 16 – RIA Novosti. The attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region is driven by the anticipation of the inevitable collapse of the Kiev regime, said Nikolay Patrushev, Assistant to the President of Russia, in an interview with “Izvestia.”

“This criminal act is caused by the anticipation of the imminent and unavoidable collapse of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime,” he said.
Patrushev expressed confidence that the attack was planned with the participation of NATO and Western intelligence agencies; without this, as well as direct support from the West, the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not have dared to enter Russian territory.

According to him, “the statements by the U.S. leadership about non-involvement in Kiev’s crimes in the Kursk region do not correspond to reality.” “The U.S. regularly says one thing and does another. Without their involvement and direct support, Kiev would not have risked entering Russian territory,” the presidential assistant explained.
