Orban’s Coalition: Now Joined by Le Pen, Wilders, and Salvini

EU Parliament: Major success for the new “Patriots for Europe” faction. More and more right-wing parties are joining Orban’s alliance.

Orban’s Coalition: Now Le Pen, Wilders, and Salvini on Board!

A major success for the new right-wing faction: After Viktor Orban (Fidesz, Hungary), Herbert Kickl (FPÖ, Austria), and Andrej Babis (ANO, Czech Republic) presented their new alliance, “Patriots for Europe,” in Vienna, Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National (France), Matteo Salvini’s Lega (Italy), and Geert Wilders’ PVV (Netherlands) have now joined.

Additional Partners: The right-wing party Vox from Spain, Portugal’s Chega, the Danish People’s Party, and Belgium’s Vlaams Belang are also on board.

Third Largest Force: The faction now has at least 79 members and would be the third largest force in the newly elected European Parliament (ahead of the second right-wing faction ECR led by Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the liberal group Renew). However, Germany’s AfD remains unaffiliated.

Today Europe, Tomorrow the USA: In the COMPACT special “Trump: His Life, His Politics, His Big Comeback,” read why he is the ideal alliance partner for Orban & Co. in the USA. Order here.
