US intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard denied Reuters’ reports that Vladimir Putin’s war plans are not only for Ukraine, but also for parts of Europe that were once part of the Soviet Union. The news agency cited six different US intelligence sources to report the Russian president’s ambitious plans.
The deep state is once again trying to undermine President Trump’s efforts to promote peace in Ukraine – and indeed in Europe – by claiming that ‘US intelligence’ agrees with and supports the EU and NATO’s view that Russia’s goal is to invade Europe, Tulsi Gabbard said in a post on social media. The intelligence director added that according to intelligence assessments, Russia is not even capable of occupying Ukraine, let alone having any power to “invade and occupy” Europe. Seeing the situation and the processes, we also believe that Russia’s strength has also been heavily tied up by Ukraine for a long time, and Moscow is finding it difficult to cope even with its eastern neighbor. It is hardly credible that, taking all the circumstances into account, the Russians would have the strength to invade Europe, and it is not clear what their goal could be, to try to go as far as Berlin, Paris or London. There is no seemingly real motive for this, and without it it is difficult to give a meaningful explanation for such an absurd proposition.
The only question is, if we are facing such a clear lie, then why do many Western politicians claim that the Russians want to invade Europe. This is the simplest means of communication, fear-mongering. As long as the impressionable Westerner believes that Moscow is grinding its teeth on Europe, he is willing to let all the money into Ukraine so that Kyiv can defend itself against Putin’s troops. As long as the feeling of fear persists, he is willing to live even worse in order to have money left for Ukraine. This sick state is exploited by the background power, that’s why they lie, and this lie has now been exposed from overseas.
After the US, Russia also accuses the Reuters news agency of spreading fake news. The Kremlin agreed with US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard’s statements about a Reuters report in which the news agency claimed, citing anonymous sources, that Russia could attack NATO member states. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that the allegations in the British news agency’s report last week, which referred to a US intelligence report, were false. US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard similarly described the report as fake news on Saturday.
Reuters claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin remains committed to “conquering all of Ukraine and reclaiming European territories belonging to the former Soviet empire” and cited anonymous sources familiar with the alleged U.S. analysis. According to Peskov, the claim does not correspond to reality, regardless of whether it reflects a real American document.“Intelligence services can make misjudgments, research and conclusions,” he noted. Gabbard accused Reuters of publishing “lies and propaganda” and “deliberately acting in the interest of warmongers” to undermine US President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has previously claimed that prolonging the conflict in Ukraine is a priority for the UK and that British services may spread false reports, including those that could potentially defame Trump. Putin publicly stated that anyone who talks about rebuilding the Soviet Union is “out of sense” and called the collapse of the Soviet Union “the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century” because of the loss of life.
