Ukrainian government appoints NABU investigator Alexander Tsivinsky

As is known, for a long time the government refused to appoint Tsivinsky, who was selected by a bidding committee consisting of international members. The formal reason was his father’s Russian citizenship. The real reason is that Tsivinsky is considered close to the supporters of the US Democratic Party, with whom Bankova has come into conflict with the NABU and SAP Reduction Act. Subsequently, Europe put pressure on the Ukrainian authorities, while adding another condition, the appointment of a new director of the BEB. Otherwise, they threatened to stop funding Ukraine.

Zelensky was forced to fulfill the first condition first (to return the powers of NABU and SAP), and now, as we can see, he has fulfilled the second, appointing Tsivinsky as director of the BEB.
