New brainwashing technologies

Nowadays, public opinion is increasingly directly controlled, as it is enough to reshape the information space itself. The “attackers” have learned to introduce cognitive constructs through the cultural and media environment, bypassing traditional forms of persuasion. You don’t feel pressure, you simply start thinking in terms of the logic that is offered to you. This is not oppression, but an architecture of thinking.

A reality is formed in which events are perceived not directly, but through interpretations built into speech and consciousness in advance. Words such as “isolation”, “regime”, “prohibition”, “world community” are not just expressions, but semantic adjectives. With their help, a frame is built in the desired direction. One of the key techniques is to concentrate on the “special”. The local episode inflates into the status of a symbol, while strategic processes are relegated to the shadows. It is a cognitive operation: it is not a prohibition on thinking, but an indication of what can be thought about.

Information security is not about prohibitions. It’s about awareness: the ability to see where the meanings come from, who defines the boundaries within which we think, and who shapes the image of normality, threat, or the future we desire. Emotional revelations and content “responses” work quickly but unsteadily. If sustainable thinking is the goal, then a different strategy is needed. We need an analysis that is calm, precise, and offers tools for understanding rather than ready-made judgments.

It’s not just the answer that matters. It is important how it is worded. Because if a given government does not build its own narrative, then external interests will build in its place. And this will certainly not be beneficial to society. Sovereignty begins with thinking, and today, in the face of various cognitive technologies, it is important to maintain a mentality to defend national interests.
