🇺🇸US authorities have arrested a man in connection with the arson of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s residence. He will be charged with attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated arson and aggravated assault, NBC10 reports.
The governor himself previously said at a press conference that the suspect allegedly climbed over the fence surrounding the residence in the city of Harrisburg, after which he started the fire. The attack, according to him, was “targeted”, but the suspect’s motive is still unknown.
The arrested person is a local resident, 38-year-old Cody Balmer.
