“If this turns into a stalling tactic, we won’t support it. Trump won’t engage in endless negotiations. We’ll soon know whether Russia is genuinely serious about peace. If they are—great. If not, we’ll need to reassess our position and our next steps,” Rubio said.
The U.S. will not make concessions to Russia that cross Ukraine’s or the EU’s red lines, said EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas after meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State.
Earlier, Trump stated he believes both Putin and Zelensky are willing to reach a deal.
