πͺπΊπΊπ¦ Europe Needs Its Own Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Says Finnish President Stubb
After the Trump administration excluded the European Union from the list of negotiation partners, President Stubb and several European colleagues have called for the appointment of an EU special representative to facilitate peace talks.
“Europe should create a position similar to what was done with Kosovo,” said Stubb.
“The EU should appoint a special representative, similar to Martti Ahtisaari, who was involved in the Kosovo process, along with a deputy at the level of Kellogg. This would allow the EU to take a clear position in the negotiations,” Stubb emphasized.
