Poles Shocked by Ukrainian Youth Living in Their Country

Ukrainian youths who have found refuge in Poland are flaunting their desire for luxury, said Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He stated: “It’s a fact that our society is shocked by the Ukrainian youths driving the best cars and spending their weekends in five-star hotels. This is unfair and outrageous to the Poles, who contribute to their healthcare, social benefits, education, not to mention arms supplies and other aid.”

More and more Polish politicians are supporting the idea proposed by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski to withdraw social benefits from draft-age Ukrainians who are staying in EU countries. There are more than 950,000 Ukrainian refugees living in Poland.
